Craigslist Rules
I am sure I sound like a dork, but man, Craigslist rule. I know that I am dating myself right now, but I am so amazed how this works so well. I guess we can trust the internet after all. (-:
We have used it in the past, to got rid of stuff, to sell stuff, even to buy Tizi’s car. Now it has a whole a new usage: buying baby stuff. Since he is outgrowing so much of his toys and equipment, we are finding out that Craigslist is a great way to find gently used things. We got the exersaucer there, and a lightweight stroller for the upcoming trip, and now, the LeapFrog activity table. After noticing how much he liked it at Hannah’s house (see previous post) and daycare, we figured we could get one too. Since he changes tastes so quickly we ended up finding one of Craigslist for $10. He is enjoying quite a bit, and he hasn’t driven us crazy yet with all the sounds and music.
In another news, on Sunday, October 10, we took Keegan to a restaurant for a Sunday brunch….while awake. Ok, it was not really a restaurant, it was Denny’s, but still. We took him out before, including in Italy, but usually he starts out asleep. I know this is not a big deal for most “normal” babies, that sit quietly, but since he is “such an active baby”, it is always a crapshoot. This time, however, he sat quietly, well babbling, the whole time. We took our portable high chair with us (gift of Aunt Beth), and he was quite content to watch us eat and devour his Cheerio’s. Oh yeah, did we mention this is his new drug? Like our friend Jennifer said it best, Cheerio’s and those puffy Gerber things are “crack for babies”. Everything is better with Cheerio’s in his mouth. At least they are multi-grain.
I am big boy: I can eat out too.
